Harelson has provided foundation for county
I would urge you to join me in voting for and re-electing
John Harelson as Josephine County treasurer. In 46
years here, I have witnessed a succession of very good
people elected to this office. Harelson is one of the best.
While it is often difficult to get good people to put
themselves in the glass house of public service,
Harelson has stepped forward to serve.
Harelson has brought to the treasurer's office a wealth
of knowledge in finance, accounting and audit analysis.
His years of professional practice as a CPA here in
Josephine County, plus his community service in Rotary,
the Four-way Foundation and schools provide the basis
for effective management and decision-making in the
treasurer's office.
I have known Harelson for over 30 years and will vouch
for his integrity and his stable, conservative, prudent
and responsible service.
We need to retain his good management of this
important office.
